In resonance with our exhibition ‘Working Class Heroes’ a film produced in 1956 by Lionel Rogosin ‘On the Bowery.’ Rogosin who before Cassavetes or Scorsese filmed New York as never before by freeing himself from all preconceived ideas.
Thirty years after its creation Agence VU’ continues in spite of the increasing degradation of the general economic context. We’ll celebrate this anniversary with a wide range of photographers who have been loyal to the agency.
Anders Petersen is without doubt one of the great masters of contemporary photography. We will learn more about him in the course of this evening during which he will run through his long career aided by Christian Caujolle.
