WORKSHOP ANNE REARICK
May 14 > 16
Discover the unique island of Sète that was a unique source of inspiration for Valéry and Brassens through a three-day workshop. Sète is a town unlike any other. Three days to lay the foundations for a documentary project assisted by the great American photographer Anne Rearick.
The trainees will have an opportunity to explore the town including the upper part, the narrow tip and the coastal road, so as to hone their photographic point of view.
Sète, with its cosmopolitan population, and its complex transformation from an industrial city into a tourist destination, is fertile ground for exploring with a camera. The trainees will be encouraged to extend their horizons, to take risks and assert their point of view. This is a proactive approach to gain a better understanding of the tradition and practice of documentary.
